Welcome to the NLPOA East Los Angeles Chapter

The goal of the National Latino Peace Officers Association is to promote equality and professionalism in law enforcement. The objectives of the organization are to create a fraternal/professional Association that provides its members and members of the community with career training; conferences and workshops to promote education and career advancement; mentoring; and a strong commitment to community service.

NLPOA members build bridges between law enforcement and their communities while working to reduce neighborhood tensions through awareness programs and role model programs. Our philosophy regarding youth and education has reinforced the important contributions that our cultural diversity has provided this great nation. The National Latino Peace Officers Association in the largest Latino law enforcement association in the United States.

Event is limited to 200 cars, PRE-REGISTRATION HIGHLY ENCOURAGED!

VENDOR SPACE IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR $75.00

The proceeds will help fund community outreach programs, scholarship fund, and the Crime Survivors Resource Center.

NLPOA Heroes and Helpers Sponsorship Form

The Heroes and Helpers Shopping Spree will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Target in Commerce, CA from 8:00-10:00 AM. This event together with Target will provide a shopping spree to children in our community. Each child will be provided a $100 gift card and will be chaperoned by either a NLPOA member/volunteer or law enforcement personnel. Your generous donation will directly support a child’s opportunity to enjoy this annual event.

PRESS RELEASE

In October 2023, the NLPOA ELA Chapter donated $1500.00 to the Los Angeles County Professional Peace Officers Association (PPOA). The donation to the Star and Shield Foundation was made to help support the family of Sgt. Emilio Guerrero who along with his wife lost their lives in a tragic car accident.
